Joining is straightforward
Becoming a Resolve client is straightforward. We start with a relaxed, no obligation call to understand your situation and check we are the right fit. If we are, you get a written summary and a bespoke fee proposal built around your needs.
Where catch-up work is needed first, we quote that upfront. No surprises, no hidden costs. Everything is signed and managed through our secure client portal, so you are up and running quickly.

Simple, transparent pricing. Every time.
We charge a single fixed monthly fee that covers everything agreed between us. No time-based billing, no unexpected invoices and no feeling like you need to think twice before picking up the phone. You always know exactly what you are paying and exactly what is included.
We believe fee transparency is not just good practice. It is a promise. Which is why we stand behind our guarantee:
"We guarantee complete fee transparency. Nothing is ever invoiced without being agreed first."
If the scope of your work ever needs to change, we will always have that conversation with you first. Nothing changes without your knowledge and agreement.
A thorough review
from day one.
Once you are onboard, your client manager and partner will arrange an introductory meeting, in our office or by video or phone, whichever suits you. It is not a quick hello but a thorough review of how your business operates, what is working and where we can make a real difference.
Your tax structure
This is one of the most important conversations we have with every new client. Businesses often come to us because they do not feel confident their current accountant is genuinely looking after their interests or making sure they are operating as tax efficiently as possible.
We take reviewing your tax structure seriously, and we do it properly from the outset.
Business owners and limited companies
If you are a director and owner of a limited company, we will review how you extract money from the business, whether through salary, dividends or a combination, and structure it in the most tax efficient way for your circumstances.
We take account of what you need to take home, your plans for the business and any wider personal tax considerations. Nothing changes without a conversation first, but we will always be honest if we think things could be done better. Ultimately we want more money staying in your pocket.
Sole traders, landlords and individuals
If you are self employed, a landlord or have personal tax affairs to manage, we take the same approach. We will review your current position, make sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to and identify any planning opportunities open to you.
Whether that is making the most of allowable expenses, understanding the tax implications of a decision you are weighing up or simply getting your self assessment as accurate and efficient as it can be, we will always have your best interests at heart.
Accounting software and systems
The right tools make everything run more smoothly, for you and for us. QuickBooks and Xero are our primary platforms, and we hold high level partnerships with both. We also work with Dext for receipt capture, Apron for payments and GoCardless for direct debits, among others.
A typical small business setup captures receipts and supplier invoices through Dext, feeds them straight into QuickBooks or Xero alongside your bank feed, and uses Apron to review and pay invoices in one go rather than one at a time through your bank.
If you already use industry specific software, or need something more bespoke, we will work with what you have or research the options, attend demos and come back with a recommendation. We will only suggest changes where they genuinely make a difference, and we will make sure everything is properly set up and that you and your team are confident using it.
Your accounting systems should run seamlessly in the background so you can focus on running your business.

Picture this...
It is a busy Tuesday. You are out on site, in a meeting or just getting on with running your business. Your accountant is the last thing on your mind. And that is exactly how it should be.
In the background it is all flowing. Receipts captured as you go, bank feed live, invoices already in the system. So when your VAT return or year end lands, we simply get on with it. Best case, you review a completed return, approve it and pay. No scramble, no digging out receipts.
And because your monthly fee covers everything, there is no barrier to picking up the phone.
A company car, a new hire, an investment you are weighing up - just call.
A clear structure. The right person always on hand.
When you first get in touch with Resolve, you will speak with one of our client partners. They will take the time to understand your situation, answer your questions and make sure we are the right fit for each other. From that point on, here is how your team is structured.
Your partner
Every client sits within the portfolio of a senior partner: a highly experienced accountant and tax adviser who oversees your account, leads any complex tax planning and is there for the bigger conversations about your business. Not a distant figure, but someone genuinely invested in your success.
Your client manager
Your dedicated client manager is your day to day contact. A qualified accountant, they oversee everything on your account, keep every deadline on track and are your go-to for any query. You will get to know them well, and they will get to know your business inside out.
The wider team
Behind your client manager is a team of accountants and assistants working on your account. You may hear from them from time to time, and anyone involved will always be introduced. The whole team communicates closely so nothing gets missed.
Your payroll team
If payroll is part of your service, a dedicated payroll team handles it all, from monthly payroll and pensions to new employee setup. They are specialists who do this day in, day out. Your client manager keeps the full picture joined up, but for day to day payroll queries you deal with them directly.
Here for the long term. Not just the year end.
Once everything is set up, the relationship really begins. This is where we go beyond compliance and become a genuine long term partner. We contact every client at least three months before their year end with a tax estimate and any planning opportunities, so there are no surprises.
In between, just call, email or WhatsApp. Your monthly fee covers it. And we never send a number without context. We explain your position clearly, so you always feel in control. It is why many of our clients have been with us for fifteen or twenty years.
